Yesterday (01.11), Ellie, along with girlband Little Mix, took to the X Factor stage to kick off the first result of the live shows this series. She treated viewers to a live performance of her new single ‘On My Mind’ and while Dougie Poynter’s girlfriend definitely gave it her all, that didn’t stop some from criticising her efforts on Twitter. Following her performance, Ellie was subject to some harsh comments on the social media site, with many users hitting out at her live vocals. However, Ellie hit back at the haters simply by ignoring them. While many didn’t think much of her performance that saw her dancing in front of an electric clone, others absolutely loved it. And for the record, so did Ellie.
